A Pune based non-profit tech forum bricsHub.com, is a pioneering organization participating in Pune Startup Fest, guiding  tech and not-tech students about applications of blockchain technology to create solutions, since 2019. For more than 5 years bricsHub.com is guiding Pune students and freshers to create blockchain based solutions for social problems. 

Blockchain is a futuristic IT infrastructure framework on cloud that decentralizes information and smart contract logic for the benefit of the social networks. The way society needs urban infrastructure such as roads, bridges and dams, society also needs digital infrastructure such as blockchains. Blockchain technology establishes the democratization of the information infrastructure to provide traceable, transparent, tamper-free and trustable source  of information for the social networks. Future of blockchain technology is for the society, of the society, by the society and with the society! Blockchain technology is the technology of the future for social information system solutions.

BricsHub.com under its umbrella has created many concepts, prototypes and solutions in its solution portfolio created by students, such as - Energy Farm Monitoring System, Medical Record System, Ambulance Registration Systems, Vehicle Monitoring System, and School Van Network, to name a few, all based on the blockchain technology with the convergence of AI. BRICS Hub guides students to come up with the solutions those are designed to create product based startups. This way BRICS Hub provides startup incubation skills to  budding entrepreneurs with technical and non-technical academic background. We encourage students and freshers to understand entrepreneurial route and startup ecosystem through product development and design thinking. 

As a latest result of our startup incubation guidance, COEP student of the year 2023-24,  participated in creation of blockchain based crop growth monitoring system for a 43-acre green energy farming project in the village nearby Pune, a farming project run for a Mahila Bachat Gat empowering women farmers in the village through the turnover of about 1 Cr.. Biomass market in India is expected to reach Rs. 32,000 Cr by FY2031 and total renewable energy market in India to reach Rs. 2,95,480 Cr by FY2028. It is necessary to provide logistics solution to the farmers producing energy crops for tracking movement and accounting of produce such as green coal, from farm to furnace, and keep track of all green credits for exchanging it with the industry for de-carbonization towards national net zero goal of carbon emission. 

For the solutions such as our latest achievement presented above, Web3 technology is deployed. Web 3.0 the next phase of the internet, promises a more secure and decentralized online experience compared to Web 2.0, through blockchain technology. It enables the decentralization of cloud based data sets and smart logic through its societal ownership making it thousand times reliable than cloud service providers and at the same time provides tremendous cost benefit with relatively low cost of ownership. The global Web 3.0 Market is projected to grow from USD 0.4 billion in 2023 to USD 5.5 billion by 2030, at a CAGR of 44.9% during the forecast period.
